Remembering Norma

It is an incredible legacy that our friend and colleague, Norma Jean Galloway, leaves for us.

As a part of the Third Coast Bank family, Norma made a significant impact during her tenure. She held various roles, including President of Third Coast Commercial Capital, and EVP/Houston Market President. Although she officially retired in 2018, Norma continued to serve as a Director for the Bank and Holding Company until her passing in 2023. Prior to her time with Third Coast, Norma amassed nearly 50 years of banking experience, including positions at First City Bank, Houston, and Compass Bank which later became BBVA.

Norma's commitment to hard work and personal values of integrity set an example for her colleagues and peers. Her belief in the importance of education and professional development was not just limited to her own career growth but also extended to others. As a mentor, she helped aspiring talents to reach their full potential and achieve their goals.

Her influence on others was not just limited to her professional life. Norma was an active member of her community and involved in several charitable causes. She believed in giving back to society and making a positive impact on people's lives.

We will miss Norma dearly, but we take comfort in knowing that her legacy will live on through the countless lives she touched, both professionally and personally. We extend our deepest sympathies to her family and friends, and we honor her memory by continuing to strive for excellence in all that we do.
